Autumn is finally in full swing here. Join us for some wonderful classes to enhance your techniques!
The brioche stitch all the rage right now and shows up in numerous fall patterns. Come sit with us one to learn this wonderful and versatile stitch. We’ll learn the basic stitch (one color), and the adventurous knitters can advance to two color brioche. The class will be held next Sunday, Oct. 18 from 2-5pm. Please bring size 8 needles (or whatever size you use to knit with worsted weight yarn). Be sure to arrive early if you need extra time to choose a worsted weight yarn. The class is $35.
The Great American Aran Afghan class: We’ve finally gotten in the yarn for this class!!! So please join us next Sunday, Oct. 18, for the next class in this series. We’ll help you get back on track and regain the momentum for this terrific project.
Have you always admired the effect of entrelac but been confused or intimidated by the knitting instructions? Come join us for a class to demystify this technique. We’ll go through the mechanics of the process, decode the knitting instructions, and get you started on a simple, but striking entralac scarf. This class will be held on Sunday, October 25 from 2-5. You should be a confident knitter, able to cast on, knit and purl. Please bring size 8 needles (or whatever size you use to knit with worsted weight yarn). Be sure to arrive early if you need extra time to choose a worsted weight yarn. The class is $35.
