Ewes News, Issue 12

Posted on: 09/28/2015 by Helen Graziano | Under: General |

Hi Everyone!

Are you going crazy?

We are too!! This Sunday is the full moon, and we’re chalking up to that. Actually, this Sunday is going to be a triple hit: a full moon, a super moon, and a lunar eclipse. It all adds up to a blood moon, where the moon is at its closest point to the earth and eclipsed because the earth perfectly aligned between the moon and the sun. If you have a chance, go outside between 10-11pm on Sunday night and look up…

Issue 12 Vogue KnitsMeanwhile, we’re getting ready to go to Vogue Knits in Chicago next weekend!! The store will be open normal hours during this period. But if you’re in the Chicago area next weekend, stop by the Ewes d’bleu booth. We’ll have lots of special kits and a fabulous assortment of brand new Combo fibers yarns. Don’t they look great? Hooray! The Browns won their last game, and it was a good game too! Everyone agrees this is a good thing because it’s helping the various scarves achieve a little more color balance… Check out these great KAL projects. Don’t forget that we are showing the games on Sundays at the store. Stop by, enjoy some half-time snacks, knit a few rows, and enjoy the fun!

Great Job

Didn’t Susie do a terrific job with her Nymphalidea shawl? This picture doesn’t do it justice. You can’t appreciate the subtle interplay of color and texture, and you definitely can’t see the twinkling, green sequins.Issue Great Job

We’re here to help you celebrate your successes, get past the tough spots, and pick out new projects. Don’t be a stranger and
stop by to show us your progress. After all, no one can appreciate your work the way a fellow knitter can!

Cheers,
Helen and the rest of the Ewes Crew
